- Community-Based Research (CBR) Grants – Offered for the first time, these grants foster collaboration between community organizations and researchers to co-create knowledge that informs programs, policies, and services that strengthen resilience and improve mental well-being. Eligible applicants may request up to $50,000 for projects lasting up to 2 years.
Why Community-Based Research?
Community-Based Research is a way of doing research where the people most affected by the topic being studied are actively involved in the research process from start to finish. Using a collaborative approach researchers and community partners work together to produce actionable knowledge that leads to positive change in the community. The Alliance has dedicated $300,000 to this new stream of funding.
