11 Dec Alliance for Mental Well-Being appoints Nancy Anderson as Executive Director
Charlottetown, PEI, Dec. 11, 2024 — On behalf of the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Mental Well-Being, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Nancy Anderson as the organization’s new Executive Director, effective December 16, 2024.
Nancy brings a wealth of experience in strategic leadership, board governance, project management and social enterprise to the Alliance, having served as the Executive Director of Inclusions East Inc. for the past 17 years. She is a proud member of the Order of Wallace McCain Institute which reflects her dedication to leadership, entrepreneurship and engaging with the community and levels of government, with meaningful results.
Nancy will oversee the strategic direction, operations and continued growth of the organization ensuring the Alliance team remains a dynamic force for creating the conditions for positive change to improve mental well-being outcomes for people on PEI.
When asked what drew her to the Alliance, Nancy cited her deep commitment to fostering mental well-being and creating inclusive, supportive communities; demonstrated by her many career achievements and extensive volunteer work. She was also inspired by the Alliance’s organizational values of collaboration, learning, excellence, authenticity and respect and is eager to support the development and implementation of innovative approaches that can make a meaningful impact for people on PEI.
